Moab is famous for a lot of reasons but one of our most famous rides is a precious flower that only blooms for a short period of time each year. The Whole Enchilada is opening its pedals(yes those pedals) and is approaching full bloom! Next week we are forecast to have highs in the 80s which means that you can start at the very tippy top of our mountains at Burro Pass and ride alllllllll ttthhhhheeee wwaaaayyyyy down to the Colorado river passing through these great rides! (Burro Pass, Hazzard Trail, Kokopelli, UPS/MPS/LPS, and Porcupine Rim.) This is a life changing 40+ mile, 7,200 foot descent that will make you beg for more and cry for mommy at the same time. Come out and ride one of the best rides that you will ever do in your whole long life!

Hey y’all! We are looking for submissions for the First Annual Moab Mountain Bike Film Festival! This festival will be in conjunction with our annual Ho Down Mountain Bike Festival the weekend of October 28th-31st.

Okay okay okay… it is supposed to be hot this weekend. Like over 100… so all that means is that you have to ride early in the morning. But don’t worry we will let you pick your bikes up early. Summer rental hours begin on Saturday. Pick up is after 4:30 in the afternoon on the day before your actual reservation day… then your bikes will be due by 1pm on the last day of your reservation. That way you can ride a nice quickie in the evening when it starts to cool off and get out nice and early when it is cool out for your long ride!

hey folks! so you really couldn’t ask for nicer weather down here in the desert! it is 80 degrees out, just a light breeze, the wildflowers are exploding, the cliff rose scenting the air of your ride with an intoxicating sweetness… this is what life is all about…. and it sounds like hazzard will be open this weekend. get ready for the good life!

Saturday May 15th will be the first ever Suffer ‘N Send It Sabbath Classic! (yes we know what classic means…)
First thing’s first- Amasa Back Hill Climb(Suffer) 8am Lemans Start. $8
Second thing’s second – Kokopelli DH Race(Send It) 3:33pm(halfway to evil… mwahahahaha) $15(which includes your shuttle!) Don’t bring your double crown whammy ’cause unless you take your chain off you won’t be racing. This DH race will be an ultimate test of bike handling skills- just two classes. Coaster Brake and Chainless. So tote your townie or your chain tool. Either way don a sweet costume because we are giving PRIZES FOR BEST TIME AND BEST COSTUME!
Of course no bike race can be complete without a HUGE AFTER PARTY!

Okay so this last week of heat has rapidly melted the snow from most of the LPS trail! There are still some snowy sections so please be mindful to stay on the trail and keep our impact to a minimum. Call Coyote Shuttle to schedule your pick up here at the Chile Pepper. YEAH!
